Why are We Celebrating Christmas?

 


Does anybody know the real meaning of Christmas.

Hi just been thinking about Christmas and why do we celebrate Christmas, i feel like Christmas is all about spending money, buying presents and waiting for the sales. Parents are made to feel bad because the media constantly shows TV commercials showing expensive toys, a lot of children’s toys are over one hundred pounds. Now if your not working or on a little income how the hell are you suppose to buy such expensive gifts.

Especially this time of year a lot of people
are committing suicide because they can’t support the family because they can’t afford to live up to the families expectation by providing the gifts they want or even lost their job.

The media need to stop think and listen, reduce the prices of the toys they are selling and start promoting the real meaning of Christmas. Number one why do we have Christmas isn’t to celebrate Jesus birthday? So why is the media constantly making it seem that its about buying expensive toys for your children or buying big flash expensive TVs and new furniture. What about the poor people that can’t afford these these things, then the other day i watched a commercial,  Telling society that they need a big table for friends and family, so what about the people that don’t have a family, or a poor person who wife or husband has died and will be by themselves this Christmas
